Blonde Ale
3/25/13
Recipe kit from Northern Brewer
OG: 1.038 with no correction from temperature
FG: 1.006
ABV: 4.3%
Primary: Fermentation took longer so gave it an extra four days.
Secondary: 4/05/13
Bottled: 4/17/13
Notes:
Bubbles seemed to settle down finally so racked after an extra four days.
Taste test during secondary racking: very fruity, almost apricot like. Very excited to taste during bottling.
Sweetness settled down when bottled. Seems like a sweeter pale ale.
Turned into cream ale but after four weeks in the bottle the hops flavor started to take over.
Use recipe for an idea to make a cascade hopped summer beer. but add more hops.
